Problem / before: The customer had a new sink installed and needed the under-sink setup finished so the kitchen had a working garbage disposal, drain connection, and reverse osmosis water system.

Work completed: I installed the garbage disposal, connected the PVC drain piping from the sink and disposal through the P-trap to the wall drain, and connected the RO system tubing using push-connect fittings.

Result: The disposal was connected and working, the RO system was operating, and the customer kept the existing refrigerator water supply for ice while adding RO water at the sink.

Scope of Work

• Installed the customer-supplied garbage disposal under the kitchen sink
• Connected the sink, disposal, P-trap, and wall drain with PVC piping
• Set up the under-sink reverse osmosis system tubing
• Used push-connect fittings to tie the RO system into the available cold-water supply path
• Preserved the existing refrigerator water line so the customer could keep ice service
• Verified the finished disposal and RO setup were working
