TV Mounting and Shelf Hanging - Gilbert
Gilbert, AZ
Project Overview
Problem / before: The customer wanted the TV mounted without a visible power cord running down the wall. The media wall already had a nice wainscoting detail, so loose cords would have distracted from the finish work. The side shelves also needed to coordinate with other cabinets in the house instead of looking like an afterthought.
Work completed: The TV was mounted on drywall, and an existing outlet was extended to add a new outlet behind the TV so the power cord could stay hidden. The shelves were mounted on drywall using a combination of stud fastening, drywall anchors, and support brackets. The shelves were painted with cabinet-grade paint for a smoother finish and better color match.
Result: The finished wall feels intentional: the TV is centered, the power cord is hidden, and the shelves look like part of the room instead of temporary storage.

This is the type of punch-list project that helps a move-in, listing prep, or rental refresh feel finished. It combines several small tasks — TV mounting, outlet planning, shelf hanging, and finish detail — into one cleaner wall.
SEO / AEO Notes
Homeowners and property managers often search for help with “TV mounting with hidden wires,” “shelf hanging,” or “wall-mounted media setup” because they want the room usable without damaging the finished wall. This project shows the practical details that matter: wall type, anchoring method, outlet placement, visible-cord control, and how the shelves fit the existing room style.
