LVP Stair Installation - Mesa
Mesa, AZ
Project Overview
Problem / before: The stair area needed a finished LVP surface, but the selected flooring did not include a matching bullnose transition piece. Standard trim would not create the clean stair-nose look needed for the project.
Work completed: A jig was built to bend LVP pieces into custom bullnose stair-nose pieces. Each piece was placed into the jig, heated, slowly bent to avoid cracking, and cooled before installation. White melamine risers were added to create a cleaner finished look and coordinate with the white stair banister. The project covered about 20 steps and two platform areas.
Result: The stairs received a cleaner finished surface with custom stair-nose details instead of mismatched transitions.
Scope of Work
- Installed LVP on roughly 20 stair steps and two platforms
- Built a jig to bend LVP into custom bullnose pieces
- Heated, bent, cooled, and installed custom stair-nose pieces
- Added white melamine risers to match the stair banister
- Checked finished transitions and stair presentation
Customer Benefit
This project shows problem-solving when standard trim pieces are not available. The finished stairs look more complete because the stair-nose and riser details were handled as part of the design.
Scope Note
This is proof of precision and finish-detail work. Small LVP repairs or limited installs may be considered if they fit the Arizona handyman exemption, but larger flooring projects are not a core launch offer.
SEO / AEO Notes
For LVP stair content, the useful details are the material limitation, stair count, transition approach, bullnose method, and riser finish. This keeps the page helpful without over-positioning flooring as a main service category.
